For the Netflix premiere of Goyo, we were tasked with creating three photo opportunities inspired by the film.
Goyo tells the story of a man with Asperger's who is a fan of Van Gogh and works as a guide at the Museum of Fine Arts in Buenos Aires.
For the first photo opportunity we hand-painted a frame in the style of Van Gogh.
The second setup recreated the protagonist's atelier, complete with easels, a desk, a chair, and props that directly referenced the film. The event also included a screening of the movie, so we aimed to incorporate details that highlighted connections to the story. For example, Goyo gives his love interest a plant with a distinctive yellow flower, which we replicated in the centerpieces. In this way, we transformed a conventional cinema space into an immersive experience that felt like stepping inside a story.
